Mike Krzyzewski, also known as Coach K, is in many people’s eyes the greatest college basketball coach of all time. His retirement this year has served as a major news item for obvious reasons.
With him set to partake in his final game at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Saturday night, many have been speaking out about him, his legacy and what he meant to the sport.
On Saturday, Fox Sports' Erin Andrews revealed precisely what Coach K meant to her and how she felt about covering him for many, many years.
There was NOTHING like going into Coach K’s office for a pregame meeting. Always grateful for his time and how he helped mold me in my early years. Sidenote…I covered Coach K for 8 seasons and can’t find one picture from those years.

As for Coach K, he was one of a kind, and the sport of college basketball will miss him greatly. Everyone except Bobby Knight, that is, who apparently hates his guts.
Hopefully whatever the next chapter of Coach K’s life holds, he can continue to enjoy the immense success and positivity he ultimately enjoyed coaching college basketball for all these decades.
