Tennessee running back Jaylen Wright had a productive career during his time in college, but better things may be on the way for his professional career. He became Tennessee's first 1,000-yard rusher since 2015 and put on a show for the entire country at the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine on Saturday.

Wright posted elite explosion scores and looked like the most athletic running back attending. He's hit home runs repeatedly for the Vols and hit a few more in front of NFL evaluators. The Draft Network went through the top running back performances from Indianapolis, Indiana, and Wright found himself front and center alongside some other impressive names.

"One of the premier standouts at the position in the 2024 NFL Draft, Jaylen Wright pairs rare athleticism with proven production. Wright led the group with an 11-foot-2 broad jump. He continued to showcase lower-body explosion by finishing fourth in the vertical (38 inches). The cherry on top was a blazing-fast 4.38 40 on his second attempt. Wright broke out of his shell for the Tennessee Volunteers this season by surpassing the 1,000-yard rushing mark. Wright is a versatile home-run threat in the backfield. Wright established himself as a day-two selection in Indianapolis." The Draft Network's Justin Melo on Jaylen Wright
