MLB best home run bets: 3 home run props for Thursday 6/29

We weren't able to hit a home run prop Wednesday, but that won't stop us from firing again today. Here are my three favorite players to hit a home run on Thursday's MLB slate.

Shohei Ohtani (+250 DraftKings)

Welcome back to the column, Shohei. Ohtani has been a great bet all season with his league-leading 28 homers, and he's staring down an ideal matchup Thursday afternoon. In 21 career at-bats against Chicago White Sox starter Lance Lynn, Ohtani is hitting .476 with three homers. Lynn loves to challenge hitters with a barrage of fastballs, and that's gotten him in trouble all season with 19 home runs allowed in 16 starts.

Christopher Morel (+380 DK)

We could be looking at a home run derby at Wrigley Field Thursday night, as the wind will be blowing straight out to center field. Ballpark Pal projects a 29 percent boost to home runs in this matchup, which is the highest around MLB Thursday. Christopher Morel has hit a home run in nearly 11 percent of his at-bats this season, so he's my favorite bet in this weather-friendly game.

Bryson Stott (+750 DK)

Thursday's matchup between the Philadelphia Phillies and Chicago Cubs should be a slugfest, so let's double down with another home run prop. Bryson Stott has hit five of his seven home runs this year off right-handed pitching. I'll take a stab at the juicy price against righty Kyle Hendricks.
